Our History

Isalu Hospital was established in 2004 with a vision to provide Lagos with a modern, reliable multi-specialist healthcare centre that patients could trust. From humble beginnings, the hospital has grown steadily into a seven-floor facility equipped with advanced medical technology and a wide range of specialist services. For over two decades, we have remained committed to delivering care that is both compassionate and professional, ensuring patients receive accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and supportive follow-up.

2004
Founding and establishment

Isalu Hospital was founded in 2004 with a clear mission: to deliver quality healthcare that is both accessible and affordable to the community. From the outset, the hospital’s leadership placed patient satisfaction at the core of its operations, ensuring that care extended beyond simply treating illness to promoting total wellness. 

2019
COVID-19 Era and Relocation Challenge

During a government road construction project, Isalu faced a major crisis requiring relocation. Despite the risk of business disruption, the hospital’s resilience, strong leadership, and commitment to patient care enabled it to overcome the challenge. Alongside this, the global COVID-19 pandemic tested systems, but Isalu emerged stronger and even more focused on resilience.

2000s
Community Outreach and Service Expansion

In its formative years, Isalu invested heavily in community impact by offering moderate pricing for the indigent, providing outreach services, and steadily building trust among patients. These early commitments reinforced the hospital’s reputation as a value-driven institution.

2024
Opening of the New 7-Storey Facility

After 20 years of consistent service, Isalu inaugurated its new, state-of-the-art multi-specialist hospital facility. This milestone represented the culmination of two decades of dedication, technological investment, and patient-centered excellence, positioning Isalu as a leading private healthcare provider in Nigeria.

2010s
Building on Excellence and Patient-Centric Care

With over a decade of growth, the hospital’s leadership prioritised excellence by investing in staff training, technology adoption, and the development of a culture where patient needs come first. The philosophy of “value before money” became deeply entrenched in the organisation.

2025
Plans for National Expansion

With operations stabilised at the new site, Isalu leadership has set its vision on expanding both vertically and horizontally across Nigeria. Future plans include establishing new facilities in Victoria Island, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, spreading Isalu’s philosophy of patient-first, value-driven healthcare nationwide.
